Use cases
Open all your daily websites at once
Every morning you open the same news sites, every workday the same tools, and before class the same course pages. Save each group as a Set in MultiOpen, then tap the Set and press Open all, and every site opens in its own Safari tab.
Make a Set for each routine
- In Safari, open MultiOpen. On iPhone and iPad, tap the page menu next to the address, then MultiOpen. On Mac, click the MultiOpen button in the toolbar or press ⌥⇧O.
- Type or paste the addresses of your morning sites, one per line or separated by commas or spaces, and press Add URL.
- Press Save set and give it a name, such as Morning.
- Do the same for your other routines, such as Work or Class.
You can keep up to 12 Sets. If MultiOpen is not set up yet, the steps are on the home page.

Open a whole Set
- Open MultiOpen and tap the Set in the Sets row. Its sites fill the list.
- Press Open all. Every site opens in its own tab.
Your current list is auto-saved, so whatever you loaded last is still there the next time you open MultiOpen. Press Open all again tomorrow and the same sites come back.
Save the tabs you already have open
If your daily sites are open right now, you don't need to type anything. Press Tabs to gather the open tabs into the list, then press Save set and name it. Save tabs does it in one step and names the new Set with today's date.

More on this in save Safari tabs as a Set.
Choose how the sites load
Under Opening you choose how the tabs load. At once opens everything right away. When viewed puts all the tabs in the tab bar, and each page loads only when you switch to it. One by one opens a tab every 1, 3, 5 or 10 seconds.
For a long morning list, When viewed keeps Safari quick. The news you read first loads first, and the rest waits for you.
More tips
- Paste a whole note of favorite sites. Smart link recognition keeps only the links and drops duplicates.
- On iPad and Mac the window is wider, with two columns, so your Sets and the list sit side by side.
- Coming from a bookmark folder? A Set can do two things a folder can't: pause between tabs, or load each tab only when you look at it.
- On Mac, turn on In a new window to open your work tools in a window of their own.
- Done for the day? Close opened tabs closes exactly the tabs MultiOpen opened, and your other tabs stay.
- Use a Set for anything you open together: a class, a project or a weekly report.
