Use cases
Open lists of URLs for testing and code review
You check the same pages after every deploy, or a teammate posts a list of pull requests to review. Keep the pages as a Set in MultiOpen, or paste the message and press Add URL. Then press Open all, and every URL opens in its own Safari tab.
A Set for each environment
The same checks come back with every release. Build the list of pages once for each environment and save it.
- Paste the staging URLs into MultiOpen, one per line or separated by commas or spaces, and press Add URL.
- Press Save set and name it Staging.
- Start a fresh list with the same pages on production and save it as a Set named Production.
- After a deploy, tap the Set in the Sets row to load it and press Open all.
You can keep up to 12 Sets, so there is room for a Set per environment, per feature or per release checklist. Your current list is auto-saved between sessions.
Open pull requests and issues from a message
A chat message or an email often has the links in the middle of the text. Copy the whole message, tap Paste in MultiOpen and press Add URL. Smart link recognition keeps only the links and drops duplicates. Press Open all and review each one in its own tab.
Mac shortcuts
- Press ⌥⇧O to open MultiOpen from the keyboard.
- In Safari, select text with links, right-click it and choose Open Links in Selection. The links in the selection open as tabs.
- Choose Add Links to MultiOpen List from the same menu to collect links from several pages before you open them.
- Turn on In a new window under Opening to keep a test run apart from your other tabs.

The full Mac setup is in how to open multiple links on Mac.
Check a long list in parts
A long list from a sitemap or a test plan is easier to check in parts.
- Under Open in batches of, choose 5, 10, 15, 20 or 50.
- Press the green open button. MultiOpen opens the first part of the list.
- Check those pages, then press Close opened tabs to close exactly the tabs MultiOpen opened.
- Press the green button again to open the next part.

More tips
- On an index page that links to every route, press Page to take all its links. Check them in the field, then press Add URL.
- With When viewed under Opening, all tabs appear at once and each page loads only when you switch to it.
- With One by one, tabs open with a pause of 1, 3, 5 or 10 seconds, so pages start loading a few seconds apart.
- With At once, MultiOpen opens the first 20 tabs right away and the rest in waves of 20, a moment apart.
