Use cases
Open a list of profiles and posts one by one
You have a column of profile links in a spreadsheet, or a client sent a list of posts in a chat, and you need to look at each one. Paste the list into MultiOpen, choose One by one, and Safari opens the links as tabs a few seconds apart.
Open a list of profiles one by one
- Copy the links. A spreadsheet column, a chat message or a brief with links inside the text all work.
- In Safari, open MultiOpen. On iPhone and iPad, tap the page menu next to the address, then MultiOpen. On Mac, click the MultiOpen button in the toolbar or press ⌥⇧O.
- Tap Paste and press Add URL. Smart link recognition keeps only the links and removes duplicates.
- Under Opening, choose One by one and a pause of 1, 3, 5 or 10 seconds.
- Press Open all. A new tab opens after each pause until the whole list is open.
Each tab waits for its turn on its own, so you can close the MultiOpen window right away and start on the first profile. The pause spreads the tabs out, and the pages start loading a few seconds apart.

The links do not have to be clean. MultiOpen picks them out of a message or a table for you. See how to extract links from text.
A Set for each client or campaign
If you check the same accounts every week, save them once. Build the list, press Save set and name it after the client or the campaign. You can keep up to 12 Sets.
Next week, tap the Set in the Sets row to load it and press Open all. Competitor pages work the same way. Keep their sites and profiles in one Set and open it when you prepare a report.
Close the batch when you are done
After opening, the Close opened tabs button shows how many tabs MultiOpen opened. Press it to close exactly those tabs. The tabs you had open before stay open.
Tips for bulk lists
- From a spreadsheet, copy the whole column. Headers and notes are dropped, and only the links stay.
- Links copied from messengers come through clean, even with emoji right next to them.
- If the links are on a web page, such as a list of accounts, press Page to collect them. See open all links on a page.
- For a long list, choose 10 or 20 under Open in batches of and work through it in parts.
- Your current list is auto-saved, so a half-finished list is still there when you open MultiOpen again.
- On Mac, turn on In a new window to keep the batch apart from your other tabs.
Pick a pause that matches your pace. A 3 second pause suits a quick scan. With 10 seconds, each page gets more time before the next tab opens.
